I am a California native, and the son of John and Maria Barros, originally from S o Jorge Island, located in the Azores Islands of Portugal. After marrying, my family immigrated to Watsonville, CA to plant their roots and start a family. Growing up, my parents always taught me that with hard work and dedication anything is possible.As a teenager, my first job was managing my own assigned newspaper route. When I was 17 our family relocated to Turlock, CA, where I graduated from Turlock High School, with the class of 1991. Soon after High School I began working for Hilmar Lumber / Ace Hardware where I spent 4 years in sales and providing exceptional customer service. I would eventually change my path to work at E & J Gallo Winery in Modesto, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and a steadfast work ethic. After almost 23 years at E & J Gallo Winery, I transitioned into a career in residential real estate and vow to never look back.I am grateful to be able to serve as a Real Estate Agent to the families of our wonderful community as they pursue their dream of home ownership.
